Slow processing times
MirrorNex try-on typically generates results in 10-30 seconds. If you're experiencing slower times, here's what might be causing it.
What's normal?
- 10-20 seconds: Typical processing time
- 20-30 seconds: Slightly slower, but still normal during peak usage
- 30-60 seconds: Slower than usual – may be high traffic
- 60+ seconds: Unusually slow – check factors below
Factors affecting speed
1. Image size
Larger images take longer to upload and process. For faster results:
- Use images under 2MB when possible
- Avoid ultra-high-resolution photos (4K+)
- Standard smartphone photos work great
2. Network connection
A slow internet connection affects upload time. The processing happens on our servers, but the image needs to get there first.
3. Peak usage times
During high-traffic periods, there may be a slight queue. This is rare but can happen during major shopping events.
4. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)
If you're using your own API key, processing speed depends on your API provider's capacity and your plan limits.
For BYOK users: Check your API provider's dashboard for any rate limiting or capacity issues.
Tips for faster processing
- Use optimized product images (we recommend 1024x1024 for best balance)
- Ensure customers have a stable internet connection
- Test during non-peak hours to establish a baseline
If processing consistently takes over 60 seconds
